"Found it cheaper?" Match it in one click.
Mint Price Match adds a price match button to your product pages. Shoppers send the other store's link and price, you see whether that page really lists it, and approving sends them a unique, single-use code for exactly that item.
Everything a price match promise needs
From the shopper's request to the code at checkout.
Add the app block under your product details from the theme editor. It opens a short, accessible form: the other store's link, their price, the shopper's email and your price match policy. No theme code is changed.
Approving creates a unique discount code in Shopify for exactly the difference: one use, only for that product variant, ending after the hours you choose. The shopper gets it by email and on their status page.
For stores on your competitor list, the app reads the price that page publishes for search engines (structured data), once. It never treats an unclear page as confirmed: several prices, another currency or no price means “couldn't verify”.
Approve automatically only when the link is on your list, the price check found the price, the gap is under your maximum and today's limit isn't reached. Everything else waits for you.
Hidden bot trap, timing check, limits per shopper connection, email and store, throwaway email domains blocked, one open request per shopper and item, and unusually large gaps flagged.
Approval rate, automatic approvals, codes used, orders and sales that used a price match code, and the competitors and products shoppers ask about most.

The other store's link and price, for the size or colour they picked. Their status page shows where it stands.
One click creates the code and emails it; declining sends your reason. Or let your rules approve the clear cases.

Questions merchants ask
How is the code amount worked out?
From your live selling price in the shopper's market (never the compare-at price) minus the price they entered, for one unit. If the shopper sees prices in your store currency, the code is exactly that difference. In another currency, Shopify converts discount codes at checkout at its current rate, so the code is the same share of your store-currency price: the shopper gets about the difference, a few cents either way. You can always enter a different amount before approving.
How does the price check work, and is it safe?
Only links to sites on your competitor list are checked, with a single request to that one page (https only, public internet addresses only, at most 1.5 MB, 8 seconds, redirects only within your listed sites). The app reads the price from the page's structured data (JSON-LD, product meta tags or microdata) and shows you what it found. Many big retailers block automated requests; then it says “couldn't verify” and you decide as usual.
Can a shopper reuse or share a code?
Each code is unique, works once, only for the product variant that was matched, for one unit's worth of the difference, and ends after the hours you set (24 hours to 7 days). You can cancel an unused code from the request.
What emails do shoppers get?
An email with their code when you approve, and (if you keep it on) an email with your reason when you decline. Both use your store's name, and replies go to your store's contact email. If sending is paused, emails wait and go out automatically; codes are also shown on the shopper's status page.
What do you store about shoppers?
Their email address (encrypted), the link, price and note they sent, and the decision and code. IP addresses are never stored, only a keyed hash used for rate limits and deleted after 30 days. Emails and links are erased 60 days after a request ends. Details are on our privacy page.
Does it change my checkout or prices?
No. Your prices stay as they are; an approved shopper uses a normal Shopify discount code at checkout. Checkout and Shopify's own emails aren't changed.
